Why we Value your support to provide quality education

Education has a diverse and immersed contribution to economic, political and rural development of any nation. The national net enrolment rate in Kenya has been in decline and it has deteriorated from 80% in 1990to 74% in (Mics2000). Due to socio-economic and security threat that they face in the streets and the free primary education opportunity that the new government (NARC that came to power in Dec the year 2002) is implementing, there is an urgent need to help the orphans and street children also owned the opportunity.

This is also to supplement the government efforts to secure security safe streets, reduce child labour and have all children’s get free and compulsory primary education by the year 2015. In the region it's noted that the child-headed households and the number assuming the parental responsibilities are alarmingly rising with most children joining the ranked of street boys and children where they face the risk of HIV/AIDS infections among dangers. This surviving children are discriminated against by their relatives and friends often to the point of losing their estates/properties including their family homes that they were to inherit while still in the street struggling for food, insecurity, psychosocial trauma, lack of schooling services and shelter that are evidenced.
