Poor governance is generally considered to be the root of many developing
countries problems. Increased interest in capacity building in recent years
is a response to shortcomings in the developing assistance over the last
50 years with the failure to see the importance of good governance.
The lack of attention to long term capacity issues also meant that the
effect of many development projects have not been sustainable and that the
reason why CadifKenya value.
In order to achieve our hand off objectives , we seek to catalyze support across
a range 0f partners nationally and internationally to deliver HIV /AIDS
prevention interventions and facilitate economic capacity for youths through
economic entrepreneurship capacity building [EECB] as pro-poor response
to internalize poverty. We shall organize capacity building session in
economic governance in a bid to build youths confidence in public presentation
and logical reasoning as a vital skills for future leadership development.
Capacity Building for sustainable development and Poverty Reduction is one
of the pillars of CadifKenya Community empowerment program.
This mission is imbedded in key operational principles.
Partnership and ownership constitute the cornerstone of the
CadifKenyas strategy for supporting interventions within the framework of our
projects. The CadifKenya strategy also recognizes the leadership of African
institutions in the formulation and implementation of development policies.
The strengthening of those institutions is a key driver in the process of
improving the effectiveness of development programs as well as the quality
of services supplied by the public sector, private sector and community-based
organizations. For CadifKenya capacity building should not only involve the
creation of new human and institutional capacity, but also the effective
utilization of existing capacity as well as the retrieval and regeneration of
hitherto lost or decaying capacity.
